A Turkish delegation from Izmir visited the Bremen Cotton Exchange in December. Dr Erçin Güdücü, Secretary General and Zeynep Tansuğ, General Coordinator of the Izmir Commodity Exchange, as well as Dr Müge Ekizoğlu, General Manager of the Izladaş Cotton Testing Laboratory, were represented. The aim of the visit was to take a tour through the modern laboratory and arbitration facilities in the Cotton Exchange building in view of a projected certification of the Izladaş laboratory by ICA Bremen. Subsequent discussions, that were held including President Stephanie Silber and Vice President Fritz Grobien of the Bremen Cotton Exchange, focused on future cooperation opportunities in the cotton sector.
