The affiliated ICA Bremen GmbH with its laboratory is an international “Centre of Excellence” in the fields of cotton quality testing and research. It was founded in 2011 as a joint venture between the Bremen Cotton Exchange and the International Cotton Association Ltd, Liverpool, and is operated in cooperation with the Faserinstitut Bremen e.V..
