Jens D. Lukaczik, President of the Bremen Cotton Exchange, took part in the 19th Annual Cotton Convention of the African Cotton Association (ACA) from 14 – 16 March 2019 in Mali. Together with Henning Hammer, Vice President of the Cotton Exchange, he used the opportunity to meet the German Ambassador Dietrich Becker in Bamako. Key topics of the conversation were i. a. various aspects of cotton production in the country as well as further local development cooperation possibilities within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the Bremen Cotton Exchange and the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
