Once again this year, the Bremen Cotton Exchange opened its doors on Heritage Day, September 11, 2022. The guided tours offered were immediately allocated, and the additional tour was also quickly filled with people.

The BTZ‘s tour guide led interested visitors through the listed building dating from 1902. Among the treasures of the Kontorhaus (ancient office building) at Bremen‘s market square are the marble staircase with its elaborately decorated banisters, the mosaics in the entrance area and the historically kept meeting rooms. The visitors also gained an insight into the „heart“ of the building, the laboratory and arbitration rooms, which are decisive for the present-day activities of the now 150-year-old association.
