During the annual meeting of the Discover Natural Fibres Initiative (DNFI) on January 13, current chair Elke Hortmeyer, director of communications and international relations at the Bremen Cotton Exchange, was re-elected chair. Hortmeyer will head the association for another two years together with also re-elected Vice-Chair Dalena White, Secretary General of the International Wool Textile Organisation (IWTO). In addition to the elections of the board, representatives from various natural fibres presented current data and figures from their respective areas at the meeting that was held online once again.
