On 26th June 2014, the Bremen Cotton Exchange held its 140th Ordinary General Meeting in its 142nd business year. On the same day, the Board of the Association elected a new Executive Committee and two new board members.

On Thursday, Ernst Grimmelt (46) was elected President of the Bremen Cotton Exchange. Grimmelt is Managing Partner of Velener Textil GmbH in Velen. The new Vice President is Henning Hammer (38), Managing Director of Otto Stadtlander GmbH, Bremen. Fritz A. Grobien (56), Managing Partner of Albrecht, Müller-Pearse & Co. Trade (GmbH &Co.) KG, Bremen, is Immediate Past President of the Association.

According to the Articles of the Bremen Cotton Exchange, the honorary Executive Committee is elected for a maximum period of two years.

Newly elected to the board of the Bremen Cotton Exchange were Mr. Rainer Hammer, Otto Stadtlander GmbH, Bremen and Mr. Axel Trede, Cotton Service International GmbH, Bremen.
