This year’s working meeting of the Partnership for Sustainable Textiles took place in Berlin on April 26, 2023. The event was held under the motto “Change of Perspective”. On the occasion of the event, the members present were able to meet the new head of the secretariat, Linda Schraml, in person. Various panels dealt, for example, with how purchasing companies can better consider rights holders at suppliers and in production countries in their business practices. There was also input on the topic of “Worker-centered instruments to address workplace-related risks and harms- Dindigul Agreement and Accord”. The Bremen Cotton Exchange has been an active member of the Partnership since the beginning of 2014 and was represented in Berlin by Elke Hortmeyer.
