ICA Bremen: New Ugandan cotton standards

New Ugandan cotton standards – Roller ginned: Grades UCON, UCOB, UCOP, UCOA, UCOM; Saw ginned: Grades UCOSA I, UCOSA II – have been adopted as the official ICA Bremen standards for Ugandan cotton.

The new standards, which were provided by the Cotton Development Organisation, Uganda and approved by the Quality Appeal Committee, replace the set effective from 25 July 2014. The official international value differences circular has been updated.

ICA Bremen holds the largest collection of worldwide Cotton Grade Standards, which represent the current crops of cotton grown in each country. They serve as a benchmark in international trading.
