Following the big success of last year’s event, the Cologne Akademie für Textilveredlung (Academy on Textile Finishing) offers again a seminar on cotton basics collaborating with the Bremen Cotton Exchange. The one-day seminar on September 30, 2020 imparts basic as well as expert knowledge on the raw material cotton to employees of companies for promotional textiles, corporate fashion, workwear, textile accessories and the whole textile and clothing market from industry to trade.
The speakers and experts of the Cotton Exchange and the Fibre Institute (both Bremen) introduce to the world of cotton trade as well as the raw material. Their themes will deal with cotton qualities, planting and sustainability as well as the trade and processing of cotton.
The seminar was postponed from April this year. During the on-site event, all necessary sanitary measures with regard to COVID-19 are going to be taken of course. There are only few places left. The seminar offers space for advanced training, exchange and discussion.
