In a joint statement, associations of the global textile and garment industry address their governments, stakeholders and partners in the supply chains.
On the one hand, the undersigned organizations, including the Bremen Cotton Exchange, emphasise the immense efforts by the industry to play its part in overcoming the health crisis. The industry is organising the safety of its employees and, where it can, is adapting its production to current medical requirements. On the other hand, the economic crisis resulting from the Anti-Corona actions is confronting many companies with existential concerns.
