The training programme was carefully planned to cover all aspects of cotton classing and testing. Participants were given the chance to interact with cutting-edge High Volume Instrumentation (HVI) devices, receiving hands-on experience that combined theory and practical skills. The manual classing sessions, taught by the experienced Jens Wirth of ICA Bremen, provided in-depth insights into cotton quality evaluation.<\/p>\n Axel Drieling of the Bremen Fibre Institute led the segments on machine testing procedures, such as the Automated Fibre Information System (AFIS) and other single fibre testing methods.
