From the beginning of January 2007, the provenance list of CIF price quotations was changed slightly. At its meeting on 3rd January 2007, the Committee for Standards, for the Determination of Value Differences and Price Quotations decided to replace the quotations for Australian cotton with Indian S-6, as a result of the great changes in the development of arrivals in Bremen. Australian cotton had not been imported to Germany in the previous year, while imports of Indian cotton had increased significantly.
