Today, Hannes Drolle, member of the management of Getzner Textil AG from Austria, continues our series of short video interviews with representatives from the cotton world. He highlights the important role of cotton in the production of clothing fabrics, damasks as well as technical textiles. The Bludenz-based company’s strongest business unit at present is African damask which is exclusively produced of high quality Pima cotton. The exquisite fabric is used for the production of the “Bubu”, a robe traditionally worn in West Africa.
